Reza has extensive experience in commercial and banking disputes involving complex legal and factual issues, many of which involve multi-jurisdictional contexts. He is an experienced advocate, having been involved in trial, appellate work and arbitrations in the technical fields of banking and investment, energy, insurance, sport, and in a range of corporate disputes.


Reza is also frequently sought out to advise on and litigate employment law cases, in particular concerning termination of employment and enforcement of non-compete agreements.


Reza has been recognised as a leading individual by Chambers Asia-Pacific and Chambers Global. He has also been recognised as one of Singapore’s best litigation lawyers by the publication Best Lawyers, as well as a dispute resolution star by Benchmark Asia-Pacific in the practice areas of General Commercial Litigation and Labour & Employment.

Justin is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution practice group at JWS Asia Law Corporation. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 2011. Justin acts for and advises clients in commercial disputes, investigations, corporate restructurings, regulatory and compliance matters, as well as financial crime & compliance matters.

Justin spent his formative years in Singapore’s leading Dispute Resolution firm, where he practiced in the market leading Corporate Restructuring & Workouts team, and under Senior Counsel who is widely recognized for his work in banking disputes. Justin has been involved in several high profile disputes, restructuring and investigation matters, and has been involved in matters wherein novel points of law were argued before the Singapore Courts.

Justin also spent more than 8 months with the Financial Crime & Compliance team of a leading international bank. He was part of a team which managed and advised country level entities on their compliance with the bank’s global client risks framework and regulatory requirements, while striving to remain competitive commercially. He also worked with the bank’s Compliance team in connection with the preparation of policies geared towards ensuring the bank’s compliance with the BASEL III framework.

Shaun is a Singapore Advocate and Solicitor and a Supervising Associate in the Dispute Resolution practice at JWS Asia Law Corporation. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and sits on the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration's (KLRCA) Panel for Arbitrators and for Domain Name Dispute Resolution.

Shaun started his pupilage and practice under one of Asia's foremost arbitrators. Shaun's practice includes regularly advising and representing domestic and international clients in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) and financial markets space in dispute resolution strategy and arbitration. He also advises financial institutions and funds on contention and non-contentious financial regulatory compliance, data protection and cyber-security issues. He also has experience undertaking highly sensitive internal corporate compliance investigations involving multi-jurisdictional breaches of anti-bribery and corruption legislation.
